The Guesthouse offers up to 2900 square feet of space for temporary lodging, for a small party or reception, or for renting space for temporary display and sale of goods or services. Parking is available at the front and rear of the house. The house is zoned P-2, allowing multiple uses. Built in the early 1920s, this two-story brick house is located near Uptown Martinsville in a soon-to-be designated historical district.

How much space do you need? The Guesthouse is conveniently divided into distinct sections that can be opened or securely closed off, providing guests with privacy and security.

The First Floor offers a private bedroom with full bathroom. A dining room or office, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, a front room/parlor with fireplace, and another half bathroom are available on the First Floor.  Rooms can be rented separately or combined to design a suite to meet the guest's need. The first floor has a private entrance, cable television, local telephone service, and wireless Internet connectivity.

The Second Floor offers four private bedrooms, a fully equipped eat-in kitchen, and two full  bathrooms. Rooms can be rented separately or combined to design a suite to meet the guest's need. Room 1 has a king size bed. Rooms 2 and 3 have a full size bed. Room 4 has a fold-down Murphy bed and sitting room. Each bedroom has cable television. Local telephone service is located in the upstairs hallway. Wireless Internet connectivity is available.

The Guesthouse has a high-vaulted attic room, providing a large open space that may be rented as a meditation room, instruction room or as space for yoga and other low-impact fitness classes. Contact Ashby Pritchett for availability.

A laundry room, recreation room with a pool table and a desktop computer with Internet access, and a secure storage room are located in the basement. These rooms are connected by interior stairwell to the first floor, and can also be accessed from the second floor by exterior entrance. Contact Ashby Pritchett for availability.

 The Guesthouse is located within one block of the Family YMCA, the Blue Ridge Regional Library, and the new Virginia Museum of Natural History, and within two blocks of the Piedmont Arts Association.

Martinsville-Henry County is the Hub of Virginia's Racing Region. The Guesthouse is located less than five miles from the Martinsville Speedway, and is approximately 50 miles from the Virginia International Raceway.

Guesthouse visitors can enjoy live baseball games in the summertime. The Martinsville Mustangs play at Hooker Field, less than one mile from the Guesthouse.
