Arabians are a highly intelligent, spirited breed dating back throughout history. The oldest pure breed, Arabians were originally desert horses bred by nomads who thought so much of their prize horses they shared their own living quarters with them. They are unique in themselves in the fact that they are a desert breed. They have one less vertebra than other breeds, their lungs are larger along with their nasal cavity enabling them to take in more air which gives them more stamina. They enhance any breed that they are bred with. Many famous horses are of Arabian descent like Man O’ War and the famous Morgan horse.
